Unbundling the electronic health record using Clojure

I will discuss the key components of electronic health records (EHRs) and demonstrate how we can use Clojure, and its underlying design principles, to turn our ideas of the conventional EHR inside out. I'll include references to a number of open source Clojure libraries and services including Hermes, an implementation of SNOMED CT, a health and care terminology and ontology, and how they are being used in clinical and research services.
